AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Class
Our AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy class is a 6-week introductory training program designed to set puppies up for success in life. The "S.T.A.R." stands for Socialization, Training, Activity, and Responsibility, which are key components of the program. Throughout the course, puppies learn basic obedience commands, proper socialization with other dogs and people, and responsible pet ownership practices. The class culminates in a test for the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy certification, demonstrating that the puppy has a solid foundation for further training and a lifetime of good behavior. For puppies 10 weeks to 6 months.
Puppy Private Lessons
Private lessons for puppies offer personalized training sessions tailored to the specific needs of both the dog and the owner. These lessons focus on creating a structured training plan that includes weekly homework to reinforce what was learned in each session. Key focus areas often include crate training, potty training, and basic obedience. The training plan is designed to be achievable, helping the puppy and the owner effectively work together. By breaking down the training into manageable steps, private lessons ensure steady progress and build a strong foundation for future learning and good behavior. For puppies 10 weeks to 6 months.
