We recently utilized Marissa’s expertise in dog training to address our four year old German Shepherds issues with receiving any kind of medical care. Ear drops, nail cutting, vet visits for which a muzzle is a must as he had developed a very strong aversion to veterinary care and getting the muzzle on was impossible since he associated it with a trip to the vet. Marissa bonded with Jackson and gained his trust. She worked wonders with Jax and gave us the tools necessary to be able to muzzle Jackson and treat him as needed. She also worked with Jax on relaxing (he’s a working line Shepherd) and not having to be in control at all times. Most of all she trained us humans on how to work with him daily so that we don’t lose all we’ve gained and to always take the time to reinforce the manners and behaviors that are an absolute must to maintain a great relationship with our beloved fella. We are forever grateful for her patience with Jax and us! We will always highly recommend Marissa to anyone in need and will continue to see her for follow up training as necessary.
